This Will Surprise Nobody

For as smart and put together as he is, Dan sometimes forgets pretty basic things. That is why his family will not be surprised at all to hear that he forgot to pack the bag he put his nice clothing in and all the Christmas presents he bought the Saturday before we left for Christmas. He also thought he forgot to pack any shirts whatsoever, but on closer inspection, by me, three shirts were found.

We all have our moments right?

Do you need me to send anything to you? I'll use FedEx and avoid the tears.

One morning on the way to seminary, he found that he had only one sock on......Buzz used to say "his mind was way too busy with important stuff to worry about regular stuff." One vacation his bag got left at home, too, but he was young enough not to have been "in charge" of his own bag - good thing we were going to Flathead so all he needed was a swimsuit, shorts & tshirt!

PS Because of this tendency, we often joked that Dan would need "idiot mittens" until he had a wife to check him every morning - guess we were right!
Have a Merry Christmas & a great visit with your family.

LOL, such a classic Daniel moment. I'll bet that there will be plenty of other Christmas presents around that nobody will notice a missing few. When you get home, you can have a 2nd Christmas if the presents were for your family. Or you can send them to the intended recipients and they can have a 2nd Christmas.

Have a Merry Christmas.
