Aargh, I hate to do the budget. You'd think that since I have my degree and I stay on top of it, doing the budget wouldn't be that hard for me. Apparently my simple math skills need a lot of work! Also my saying, "No" skills at the fabric store.

Get out your Dave Ramsey book & some envelopes. Heather & Dave are using his system to save for a new truck for Dave. Nate & Jenny are still on their version of the plan & Craig put me on it - mostly for my knitting expenses, I think. Anyway, having no money in your envelope makes it easy to say "No".
Dan is awesome at not spending money (I'm sure you're all shocked about that one). I'm getting better and the fabric was purchased for Christmas presents, but I didn't actually need to buy them right then. I could have waited for a sale. Oh well, it didn't break the bank.
My husband and I were married July 2, 2005. We just finished medical school in St. Louis. Now we are doing a five year stretch in Minnesota. I'm just trying to keep everything together at home while we wait to see the next curve in the road.
