- My husband and I were married July 2, 2005. We just finished medical school in St. Louis. Now we are doing a five year stretch in Minnesota. I'm just trying to keep everything together at home while we wait to see the next curve in the road.

Definitely the wood working class. It sounds a lot more useful to me. I mean, all you have to do with flowers is throw them in a vase and they'll look pretty. I'm always thinking it would be nice to have this or that, and if only I could just make it because I bet it would be way cheaper and nicer than buying a cheap one at Ikea or something.
Like we have this bookshelf. It is tiny and it is falling apart, but I'm sure it cost at least $40 if not more. To replace it everything is expensive, and the really nice ones are way out of my price range. I think it would cost a lot less to build one myself.
But Dan's already pretty handy, so maybe you would be able to use the flower one more. Plus you probably get to take the arrangements home with you.
I was going to say it's a toss-up but then I saw Heather's reasoning and I have to agree with her first paragraph.
yeah... dan sounds pretty handy - but it might be fun to work with him a little especially after you know more.
I guess it depends what you hope to get out of it.
