This Saturday my two children and I will be flying across country without the aid of my husband. Our plane leaves at around 6 AM. Any suggestions? Also, do I even worry about the fact that my two almost three year old will be in her pajamas all day?
The hardest part about flying alone for me is dealing with the airport and trying to lug everything around without the kids taking off. Two things that helped me- car seats do not count as baggage- so check them. Also, bring a leash for the toddler, a backpack full of toddler's toys'n stuff for toddler to carry herself and an umbrella stroller for the baby. Life saver.
My husband and I were married July 2, 2005. We just finished medical school in St. Louis. Now we are doing a five year stretch in Minnesota. I'm just trying to keep everything together at home while we wait to see the next curve in the road.

You could buy her her own ipod so she can watch movies and not worry about the pj's
As long as she's in the pink penguin jammies its OK by me...
