- My husband and I were married July 2, 2005. We just finished medical school in St. Louis. Now we are doing a five year stretch in Minnesota. I'm just trying to keep everything together at home while we wait to see the next curve in the road.

Hi - I found your blog through FMH while skipping a bit of work. I browsed just a bit and it appears your husband is applying to med school? If so, I just wanted you to know that there is someone out there that knows the pain and frustration. My husband had to apply twice and it ended up being the best that that could have happened to us. It might not seem like it now if that happens but you never know. Also - if you want to know more about UW (or being "wwami'd") we're in that program. Just wanted to give you a note of encouragement from someone you don't know but who's been through it. :)
