Last Night's Dinner
Last night we had pepper steak with a blackberry glaze. I broiled the steaks because we don't have a grill. This was my first attempt at broiling meat all by myself and I am so proud of myself because they turned out sooooo good. Plus, it was super easy. So now I know a good easy recipe that's impressive to serve people when they come over.

You were really busy yesterday. If Dan had been accepted at UW, you could have picked fresh blackberries almost anywhere! Congratulations on finding a good "company" dish.

I love fruit on meat. It's my fav!
Yesterday was busy, but I'm getting excited about my project so that's good. We used to pick fresh blackberries and make jam out of them when we lived in Puyallup. It was really fun, except for all those prickly parts.
I was a little suspicious about the blackberry glaze, but it turned out really yummy! It was blackberry jam and red wine vinegar. Oh so good.
