Doctor's Kids

So this is funny.  The kids of doctors aren't normal.  They are exposed to the human body in ways normal children aren't at a very young age.  Yesterday I walked in on this scene:

PS. Those aren't real bones just so you know.

Matilda likes to use the Saw Bones as swords. They're some of her FAVORITE things to play with. It'd be really creepy if someone who didn't know Scott is a surgeon came in and saw all of these fake bones on our toy box.

Long ago, when my dad was in dental school, the skulls WERE real & ther is floating around in dad's archives a picture of me holding the skull in my lap.. He still ahd it in his office when I got married & left home - don't know what happened to it when he retired & closed his office. I guess your kids were born to inherit such experiences.

My kids haven't had the opportunity to play with fake eyeballs yet. I'd better get on that!
So cute to see them playing!

Chad totally has those bone by his side of the bed. Peyton hasn't discovered them. I should pull them out. Haha
