I wanna swear

I just finished the two hour test for my pilot plant class that was entirely on Excell. As I was leaving after having emailed it to the TA I realized that I copied the page wrong so it didn't change the cells that I wanted. The explination of the mistake would take longer than I want, but the agnoy of knowing what you did wrong before it has even been looked at is really VERY frustrating.

Dear Anonymous,
I can't believe you came on someone else's blog and posted such an idiotic and offensive response. Why bother posting at all if that is all you had to say? Your response was very uncool and showed absolutely no class! In the future, please keep such posts to yourself.

Sorry Maggie for ranting on your blog, but this person's response really offended me.

Dear Anonymous,

Although I personally don't swear and find it slightly offensive as well, I thought it was kind of funny and sweet that you expressed empathy for my sister. Her situation totally blows.

In my two years of blogging I've learned some important lessons that I think might be handy to share. You can take or leave this one. On the internet it is very important to be overly considerate of other people's views. Also, it is crutial to understand that people come from all different backgrounds and we must all be very slow to take offense.

That's my two cents.

Sorry for your rotten luck baby.

Katie,
I appreciate your comments, especially about being slow to take offense. After I re-read the title of Maggie's post, I realized why Anonymous posted the word. I guess a less offensive swear word (ah sh*@t) would have not illicited such a strong response on my part.

Although you can't control someone else's action, you can control your reaction. Your reaction was much more dramatic than theres. As if you've never heard a swear word before??? And--thats kind of what you get when you decide to post on the INTERNET!
